Bridget Owens is a writer, artist, zinester, and practicing witch. After being raised as an evangelical preacher’s kid, she became Catholic in her 20s, then drifted through an eclectic variety of pagan traditions before settling into what can perhaps be best described as a modernized folk magic practice on a foundation of chaos magic. She is a student of the International Alchemy Guild, organizes the Springfield MO Pagan Meetup, and practices with a small coven of friends.
Bridget creates hand-drawn, hand-bound zines primarily (but not exclusively) of the witchy variety. She is also the creator of the Mantras and Affirmations Coloring Book Series, The Feminist Tarot Deck, A Tarot Reader’s Resource Workbook, and Deep Self Magic: A Step-By-Step Roadmap to Spiritual Authenticity. Her podcast, The Waxing Soul, is currently on hiatus.
